The lovers are in the middle of their conversation when the narrator interrupts them to tell them that the knight is on his way to the university canteen. The two young men leave the canteen and return to the apartment where they are staying. The narrator tells the young lovers that he has found the knight in the city and that he will follow him wherever he goes
