Love in Lyrics

When the scene opens, the narrator is still angry. He tells the audience that he is still in love with Lucie, but that she is no longer in a relationship with him. He asks her to come close to his eyes and kiss him. She does so, and he kisses her. He then tells her to beat a date with him the next day.
