In this short scene, we are introduced to the protagonist, who is now called "Xu," and we are told that he is still a "lousy sleeper" and that he has been "recalled to decline" a message from his friend, "xiaoke." We are also told that the protagonist has received a call from his mother, who wants to know what is going on with the relationship between him and her son. The protagonist tries to ignore the call, but his mother is not having it. She tells him to "put close on mom" and "i'm going to marry into the family of xiaoke" . She then tells him that he should "go get em and sweep the floor" and
