The Governess tells the Governess that her son has come out of the closet and is now a member of the gay community. She tells him that it is not abnormal for a man to be attracted to another man of the same gender, and that everyone has the right to choose their own partner. She then goes on to say that she has an appointment for her son's family and that she is glad to be home. The two of them laugh at the idea that their son is attracted to someone of a different gender.
