When the narrator returns home, he is shocked to find that no one has responded to his questions about his love life. He is also shocked to learn that he has been asked to work on a new project. He has broken up with several of his girlfriends, and now he must work on the new project, which is to be called a "hot spring hotel." The narrator is so shocked that he wants to sleep with her.
