This is a locked chapterChapter 144: Semifinals Vs. Shu Katori
About This Chapter
In this chapter, we're introduced to a new sparring partner, a guy named "Meguru" . He's a Japanese boxer who's been training in the United States for a long time. We're also introduced to the guy's nickname, "Takayanagi" , which means "the long one" in Japanese. Translation: "The long one." We learn that Thackeray is a 180-year-old man, and that he's fighting for a light-weight division title. We also learn that the other sparring partner in this chapter is a guy called "Muroi," who is also a boxer. The two of them are in the middle of a sparring session in the red-boxing ring, where they're supposed to be sparring for other fighters. The red box is for fighters who're fighting for money, and the blue box is where the other fighters are fighting for the right to fight for the title. The guys are in different parts of the ring, so we can't really tell which one is which, but it's clear that they've been sparring for money.
