About This Chapter
In this chapter, we're joined by another of our sparring partners, Tommo, who's just returned from a six-month training program. He's got a lot to say about the upcoming fight between Hiroshi and Mimaki, but first he's going to give us his take on the upcoming match between Mimaki and Hiroshi. Tommo says that Hiroshi is a good fighter, but that he hasn't been sparring for six months, so he doesn't know how to properly prepare for the fight. He suggests that Mimaki stay light on his feet and use his jabs to keep Hiroshi on his back. He also says that if Hiroshi gets too close, he'll throw himself back to avoid a punch from Hiroshi, and that's when you're going to have trouble landing a good jab. He warns us that if we don't stay on our feet, Hiroshi will throw us back.
