In this chapter, we're introduced to Tomohashi, who's in the middle of a grappling match with Katsuma. He's a little worried about his opponent, because he thinks he's not very good at anything except striking. He thinks that his opponent is "polar opposite" in that he doesn't have the grit or the power to finish a fight, but he also has the tendency to throw random moves at the opponent hoping for something to stick. He also thinks that the opponent is a bit of a wild card, since he hasn't been trained to fight in a real wrestling match before. He wants to see how he'll fare in this match, since it's only a wrestling match. He says that he'd like to see what the opponent can do in this kind of match, because it'll give him a better idea of how well the opponent will perform in the real world.
