In this chapter, we learn that Hiroshi is a mixed martial artist, and that he has been living with a guy in the town of Awabane. Hiroshi tells us that he is a "soccer guy" and that mixed martial arts reminds him of his life with his sister, who has moved to the city of Tochigi. He asks if his sister is still alive, and she replies that she hasn't seen anyone since she left to go tokyo. He says that she was a "good girl" who was "hard headed as always" , and he hopes that she will come back soon. As Hiroshi prepares to enter the ring, he asks his father if he has any idea how much it would cost to send his son to school in order to bring his arms into the ring and push Hiroshi's head with his elbow. He tells his father that he will fight like his old man, and Hiroshi agrees to do so.
