About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn the meaning of the "life clinging flower," a symbol of pre-mortal life. It means, "Don't live just to live." In other words, don't want to live just because you're alive. Inyo, the father of the protagonist, asks his son if he knows the meaning. He asks if she's distracted by other things, and she replies that she doesn't. He tells her that he's tired of the fight and is going to go back and change into new clothes. He's going to take a shower and then change back into his old clothes before continuing the fight. He teases her that she needs him so much, and he wonders why she didn't leave earlier. He wonders if she thinks she can kill them easily. He says that he is the dealer of the battle and never loses. No matter what it is, the perfect Lacht force can complete everything. He is curious about the protagonist too, and wonders why he hasn't used the double Lacht combination yet. The lacht force made by the invincible futuregods is something that's even more interesting to him. He wants to give it a try, but he knows that it won't work. It will only make the protagonist more cautious, which will make him more likely to kill himself. It's not a good move, he says, and it's just a shame that the Lacht combined with the tripple combination has been skipped. He knows that he was one of the murderers of the patriarch, and the combination will kill him
