About This Chapter
In the midst of the holy spirit festival in Ming-guo Ming, the Ming men discuss the nature of magmell. Ming asks if the festival is a special event, and the Ming reply that it is a festival of the god of the spirit. Ming says that if some of his fellow magmellians heard what he had just said, they would not be able to live in the same place. Ming explains that the heart of the magmell is sacred because that is where the god sleeps. He says that he would rather believe in human research on the black market than believe in the god's creation of true magmelians based on his own image. Ming tells Ming that the doctor told him that he had two weeks left to live, and Ming's parents almost cried. The doctor said that Ming had caught the disease from only one herb, but Ming was not the only one to catch the disease. He also says that Ming wasn't alone in catching the disease, as there were other people who also caught it. Ming then tells Ming about how he was saved by a human. Ming forgives Ming for favoring humans, saying that he likes the human world. Ming replies that he always gives his all to rescue people in distress, at least he always give it his all when rescuing the adventurers. Later, he was proved that he was really suited for the mob role.
