In this chapter, we learn that the captain of the squadron 18th Hell is drunk, and that he's trying to get into the lair of the futuregods. He's got a bunch of cameras set up all over the place, so he can spy on what's going on. We learn that futuregod's family has been using their "perfect lacht force" to build hibernation pods, which were way ahead of their time 500 years before. This means that they've been able to create a new era in the future that's way more advanced than any other era in history. Now that they have this new era, they're going to have to use it to build the new hibernation pods. The narrator is worried about what he'll do now that he has this new technology. He doesn't know how to react to the fact that everyone in the group is using it to kill him.
