The chapter opens with a conversation between Milady and Milady. Milady says that she wants to keep Milady for herself, but that she would like to get married, but she doesn't have the money to do so. She also says that Milady's work takes up more time than she does with her, so she'd like to do more of her day-to-day stuff with Milady, but Milady can't figure out a way to get Milady to do that. She says she's not going to marry Milady because she isn't as alluring as Milady is, but instead, she'll give Milady a ring as a token of her love, so that she can move in with her when Milady moves in, and then Milady will come to trust Milady with her money. She tells Milady that he's going to go to a workshop tonight, where he'll be able to meet other women who are running a start-up business.
