In this chapter, we are introduced to the narrator, who tells us that he is in love with Mr. Sudojima. He is so touched by his love that he cannot believe that he has ever felt so happy in his life. He feels that his life was full of pleasures, and that his body was overflowing with them. He cannot tell where his body ends and his body starts, and he feels as though he is beginning to lose his mind. He asks her to look at him, and she looks at him. He tells her that he loves her so much that he cant tell where her body ends or her body starts. She tells him that this is the first time she has felt this way, and the award for the "best man inmio sudous" goes to him. She asks him who he wishes to express his feelings to first. He answers, "Shuuji majima" . He goes on to say that he still cannot express his current feelings to her, because he is already satisfied
