This is a locked chapterChapter 31: Chill in the Air (Part 2)
About This Chapter
In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of characters who have been introduced in the previous chapters. The first is the mother of the dead princess, who has been separated from her son by a wall at the Ganquan palace. The mother and son have been separated for more than one year, and the two have not been able to communicate with each other. They are now separated from each other by only a small wall, which separates them from the rest of the world. The father is looking for his daughter-in-law, but he is unable to find her. He tells her that the master of his house knows where she has gone, and that he hopes she has not gone far. He asks her if she knows where her home is, and she tells him that her family travels the world, owns property everywhere, and wants to return to her home. She asks him if the emperor does not stand for her, and he says that he does not. He then asks her why she does not rest her son, who is starving. She says that the emperor should rest his son when a day is up, as he is a full man. She tells him to buy snacks for his grand children, as they are not starving. He gives her some money, and tells her to buy some snacks for her children
