She also wants to wear it as proof that her brother is engaged to someone else. This is a great idea, because it means that she won't have to worry about her brother's feelings for her anymore. It also means that Lijun will be able to get away with not telling anyone about her engagement, since he'll be alone with her now. She wonders if the prince doesn't want to deal with the situation, and she suggests that he should take the initiative and make some new decisions.
