In the palace courtyard, the princess asks her sister why she is hitting the prince. She tells him that it is not good to make him angry. She also tells him to keep them away from the fox. The princess tells her sister that she has already told her that she is not her sister and that she will not meet her privately. She asks if the prince is confessing to her, and the princess says that he is not. She then tells the princess to take a walk outside and tells her story. When she was young, she mingled with the bad people of the district, and sometimes she couldn't care for herself because of her appearance. She met her second brother and they became sworn brothers. They stayed together for a year and then went to live with her adoptive father. The scene ends with the princess singing a song.
