It's hot outside, and the narrator is meeting up with some of his friends for a gondola practice. He's super excited about the competition he's about to have with a girl named akari, who's apparently a super-popular person in Venice. The narrator tells us that a lot of the people in the gondola know a lot about akari and that she's really into her little sister, Isabella. He asks if he can run an errand to see how akari meets all the other passengers when they're not on the gondola. Isabella is taking a two-way ticket, which means she'll be able to catch a glimpse of her new BFF. Isabella and the others are super excited to see her, since they've never met each other before. Isabella's a little nervous about meeting her, but the narrator reassures her by saying that Isabella is a "force of nature" .
