It's been a while since we last saw Miles, and he's finally feeling better. Aika and alice have come to visit him, but he refuses to let them in. He's so bored, in fact, that he decides to sneak out to eat some pudding with whipped cream. Miles says that he feels like he got the "lucky end" of the oar at this point, because without him around, his friends are able to go on without him. He feels that something is wrong with him, and that he needs to go back to where he belongs. He asks if they brought him any pudding, and they tell him that they did. He says he forgot to buy the pudding on his way home, so they brought it to him.
