The narrator tells us that the town of Aria was once a company. It was a place where the president of the company was a cat. The narrator describes how it is hard to be president of a company, because it is a big day for cleaning up. The president is depressed because he has failed in his job as president. The maid tries to comfort him by saying that he has made a friend in the company of the president, and that he will be back soon. When the maid finds out that the president hasn't returned yet, she goes to look for him.
