The narrator tells us that this is the first time he's seen all of the members of the Aria company together. They've been hanging out at a cafe called "Caff Florian" for a long time. Akari, the manager of the cafe, tells the narrator that it's nice to be able to do whatever you want with your time. Sometimes, he says, you just have to go ahead and do what you want without worrying about what others think of it. He's happy to see that Akari is enjoying herself at the cafe. The narrator says that he'd like to join them, too, since they're all hanging out in the shade all day long. He tells Akari that he knows that she's been coming to the cafe almost every day, and that she needs a refill of the third latte she ordered. He also tells her that the cafe is in the middle of a gondola meeting. He says that the gondola meeting is going on right now, and he wants to be one of the first to get there. He asks Akari to sit down, and she agrees. She's so relaxed that she can barely move her head. She thanks him for being so nice, and says that she enjoyed their time together.
