In this chapter, we're introduced to a new character named President Aria. She's the heroine of the story, and she's super excited about the idea of a parallel world. We're also introduced to some of the other characters who are introduced in the novel, including Gamut, who's kind of like a sidekick to the main character, and Gulliver, who is kind of a villain. We learn that the two of them have been hanging out together, and that they're in a totally different part of the world than we've ever seen them in before. It's a little weird that Gulliver and Gamut are hanging out so close to each other, but it's also weird that they seem to be hanging out at the same time. We also learn that Gulliver is 19 years old, so he's probably a little freaked out by what's going on. He says that he used to think that he was in a parallel universe, but now that he is in one, he'd rather be in his own world.
