The next morning, the three of them discuss the events of the previous day. They're all excited about the fact that they've reached the end of phase one of the journey, and they're ready to go to the next phase. But they can't find anyone to greet them, so they head out into the night. They don't know what to do, because there's no one to welcome them. They feel a little weird about it, because they didn't notice that they lost each other, but they'll have to deal with it. They decide to play a game called "death checkers" , which involves pressing a rescue button to save someone who's about to die. Everyone who presses the button dies, and everyone who doesn't press the button will die as well.
