The chapter opens with a soliloquy by Tommo, in which he praises Tommo for his courage in the face of adversity. Tommo is now the most powerful man in the universe, thanks to Tommo's courage. He also praises his mood, which he describes as "so good" that he doesn't know how to react to it. He tells Tommo that his team is a "rock now" for karatekas, and that he's the one who brought the angels into space. He can't tell Tommo what's happened to alita, since she's dead, but he can tell that alita is still alive and that her body is made up of nanomachines, just like his own. He's also able to tell that toji's faith in alita has been confirmed by the fact that the anomaly has been regenerating again. The chapter ends with Tommo telling Tommo to stick to his "trusted path" .
