Now that he's got the new body, Alita wants to know what it's like to be alive. She's also worried that she's going to lose her arm in combat. She wants to get out of there ASAP, pronto. Alita's looking for a guy named Jim Roscoe, who's apparently the new guy in charge of imaginos. She can't find him, though, because he looks like a machine . She begs him to leave her dead, but he refuses, saying that he hated the world before he died. He says that unless you're alive, no one will ever be able to produce anything. He's right.
