About This Chapter
Now that the hold on the project is released, Jack is able to see everything that's going on in the universe. He's even more excited about the fact that he'll be able to control his own destiny. He asks if everyone is all right, and when they say yes, he tells them to go back to their offices and sign some papers. He also tells them that only the winning team will be allowed to represent him at the Z.O.T. In other words, only the champion of the tournament will get to represent his country at the World Genome Day. Jack is all, "Gee, I don't want to be associated with a bunch of guys who've beaten me before, so I'm just going to go ahead and do what I've always wanted to do . . and beat up on the guy who's already beaten me." He then launches into a long speech about how his company, Biovouivre, owns all of the rights to all of Zekka's superior dna, and how he's willing to risk his life and limb in order to prove that his company can do what it's always done . Jack's not done yet, though, and he tells him that they're going to let the champion keep the scrapyard and the tiphares.
