About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn more about the ancient Chinese martial art of Jee-Kun Do, which was developed by the famous martial artist and actor Bruce Lee, who was born in 1940 and died in 1973. Lee's style of fighting was based on the research of the Chinese martial arts and filipino, kalo, and fencing, as well as the use of weapons such as swords and spears. Lee divided his fighting into five attacks, each using a different type of weapon: simple angle attack, omniimmobilization, progressive indirect attack, combination attack, round barrage attack, and the directional attack. The fifth attack is the direct attack, which Lee omitted from his list of attacks. The sixth attack is kishiro's single direct attack. This attack is also sometimes differentiated from the sixth attack by the fact that it uses only two blades. The second attack is an implo-sion punch diet, in which a person is pinned against a wall by a single blade.
