The scene opens with a fistfight between a man and a giant spider. It's just a minute ago, when we learn that the man they're supposed to be fighting is actually the guy they've been pretending to be all along. Uh-oh, what's up with that? Well, it turns out that the giant spider has been injected with a lethal dose of plasma poison, and that's why it's taking so long to kill the man. The man's still alive, though, and he's not going to give up. He's going to fight, he says, just like a real man would fight. The giant spider, however, isn't going to stop fighting. He says that he'll fight until the man who's supposed to kill him is dead. And then he says that if the man is dead, then the giant must have been killed by the spider, too. Um, no problem, says the giant. But what if the giant doesn't die? What if he dies of some kind of disease or something? The giant says that the only thing that can stop him from fighting is the word "Naveté" , which means "to change" . Translation: the giant can't change, because the words he speaks are the only things that keep him from changing. So, the giant says, the only way to stop the giant from changing is to get rid of him. The guy's dead, and the giant is going to die of some sort of disease . What if the guy who killed the giant wasn't the giant, but was just an insect ? Translation: The giant is as hollow as an alien insect . So the giant has no choice but to fight the giant to death, even if it
