This chapter's epigraph comes from a soliloquy by Professor nova. It's from a conversation he had with nova when he was a student at the university. He tells her that he's learned a lot from her, and that she's made a lot of new friends in the process. He's also learned a thing or two about how to fight, and how to use a weapon. He says he'll trade her alita for the corpse of Rosado if she'll let him use it.
