About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a flashback to a dream in which Jim and his friends are in the middle of a fight. They are interrupted by a groan from a sleeping Alita, who has woken up to find that Jim has eaten some food. The two men discuss the plan to take over the M.I.B. system and restore order to Tiphares. Jim is excited to see his friends again, but he is also concerned about the smell of the theater and the fact that Alita has grazed his cheek. He is glad to see them, and he is sorry to see that he has been defeated in the fight.
