In this chapter, we learn that there are 43 stores that have cleared the entry requirements to participate in the grand prix. Of those 43, only 15 have cleared four, and only two have cleared three stores. The remaining 43 stores have been cleared by the planning division of the competition. We learn that no one from the competition has been seen or heard from since the beginning of the day. We also learn that the competition sponsor, opce, has sent a scout division to offer the participants passage to the tournament.
