He tells them that the guy who beat him in the last one, the young guy, ate three bowls in a row. Gosuke says that the kid broke George's record by eating four bowls in four, and that he plans to beat the kid even more in this one. He says that he knows that no one will beat him, but he has a special trick up his sleeve. He knows that the odds on the match are stacked against him. He's betting that the young kid is going to win the battle in four minutes or less, and he'll get 5,000 yen for it. The young guy is eating so fast that he doesn't even have time to eat the rice that Gosuke brought for him.
