The chapter opens with Torikai triumphantly declaring that she has defeated George Hunter in the world's largest eating contest. She tells the audience that she was born with special stomachs, and that if she were to train in her dojo, it would be possible for her to become even bigger than she is now. She says that from that day on, she has traveled down the road of being a professional eater and that she will visit the dojo in order to become a star. The audience is shocked to learn that the difference between the two men is only a single bowl at the end of the contest. The dojo's assistant coach, yodogawa, is also shocked to hear this news. He says that the other man, currydon, has stopped eating. The other man has been drinking broth, and he says that he will make a comeback.
