In this chapter, we are introduced to two women who are competing in a giant eating contest. They are called "the two women" because they are the only two women in the entire world who have made it past the first round of the competition. The other two women are "the five stomach stars" , a group of competitors from the home country of China who have come to compete in this competition to see who is the "world's greatest eater." The women are so excited to be competing against each other that they eat so fast that they forget to eat their own food.
