In this short scene, Mina explains that he has managed to capture all of the voices in the darkness. He wishes that they would hurry to find Haruka, since the neutron bomb would be better off not being in the way. He also says that Haruka is in the center of the room, and that he is grateful to God for his help. He says that the status quo in the U.S. will soon be "wiped out" when the country is destroyed. He gives the keys to the car to Mina, who says that he did not think he would die. He tells Mina not to worry about him or anyone else in the group, as they are only concerned with protecting Haruka and getting her out of the way
