Okay, now we're back at the school, where Haruka and em>Detective Suzuka/em> are having a little chat. Haruka's worried about her brother, who's been cooped up with his dad's guys. He's also worried about what's going on with the other guys, since they're the ones who've been spying on Haruka. He tells her that he's the only one who can do anything about it, since he has to protect her and her brother. He doesn't want to be the one who gets blamed for everything, he just wants to protect them both. He also wants to know what the spy is up to. He says that he can't tell Haruka anything because she's so emotional, but he does want to show her the decrypted version of the file. He wants to go back to school and show her it. He asks if she'd like to see it, and she says she'll be back in a sec. She's sad that she hasn't been able to meet him in five years, since her father's funeral. She asks him if he was with his lover, and he says he wasn't. She wonders if he went to the rental shop on December 24th, which is the day after he was supposed to have died.
