The day of the New Year's Eve party at Lin Fan's school is just as it always is: quiet, quiet. Everyone listens up to the student council, but the school also wants to advertise the party in the local paper. The administrative teacher tells the students that they've even gotten a jin-ling bust, which means that there's going to be a lot of partying going on at the party. The students are all excited about the party, but they're also worried that they won't be able to host it because of all the work that's been put into it. Lin Fan, however, is not so sure. She's worried that ling feng is mad, and she's afraid that he'll try to push her away. She tries to contact him, but he doesn't have a number for her. She tells him that she'd rather not contact him because he's mad. He's not mad, she says, because he just wants to maintain the friendship that they used to have. The two of them are hosting the party that night, and Lin Fan is nervous that he might be pushed away from her. He tells her that the boss has told him to keep his cell phone on for a few minutes so that he can focus on practicing feng's art.
