The Governess apologizes for her abrupt confession, and says that she will no longer bother him. She tells him that she has tried wine before, but that she had too much of it with the steak. She orders him to order her "country bumpkin" to become part of her harem. He is amazed at how smooth her skin is, and he says that he does not feel happy that he is complimented like this. He says that his heart is beating too fast, and that he has been overworked the last few days at school. He wants to know what is wrong, but he cannot sleep.
