In this chapter, Gao-Ran tries to convince Jim to let her go ahead with her plan to become his girlfriend. He tells her that she's making too much money and that he's going to have to leave the company soon. He's also worried about the fact that her contract is about to expire and that she might not be able to find a new job after all. He asks if he can have a naked chat with her and she says no. He also asks if she wants a picture of him in a sexy dress. She's depressed and doesn't know what to do.
