Late in the afternoon, Roxane complains to herself that she's late to the theater because she wants to see Zillah. She's also worried about how Zillah will react to the show, since she hasn't spoken to Roxane in a while. She tells herself that her confidence matters more than her looks, and she'll do her best to make sure that Zillah is the star of the show.
