In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, the giantess. The giantess tells us that she has been looking for someone to love her since she was a child, and she has finally found her man. She tells him that the man she's looking for is a "beast" , and that he's been drinking a lot of wine. She asks him to show her the wine, but he doesn't have the courage to do so. She's worried that something bad is going to happen to the man, and he should hurry up and see what's going on. She also tells him to stop hitting her, because she accidentally injured her tooth when she was little. She begs him to take her to the dentist and pull out her missing tooth. He says that he apologizes, but that if he continues, the consequences will be terrible. He tells her that he has never seen a man like this, and asks her to tear him apart just to see what he looks like. He asks her why she feels that she is in despair, and why she didn't believe him when he told her that she was pregnant. She says that she broke up with him without giving her a reason, and now that she sees him, she feels betrayed. She blames him for training her to be an "excellent" woman, but she says she'll work harder to change. He begs her to wait for a while, and then she promises to work harder for him.
