The monster tells Roxane that he has a "super power" that lets him know where the others are. He tells her that he came to the lake on purpose. He also says that another child almost drowned at the lake that same year. He asks Roxane if she knows the exact location of the old case. She says that she doesn't, but adds that she does know the location of dalen's school, where he was going with the children that disappeared at the same time. She asks if there were any mechanical devices in the school, and she says that there were no mechanical devices. She also asks if Clouse had special powers, and he says that no, he did not have special powers. She tells him to hurry up and get into the school.
