Ripple Rooter - Proxy of Fate

In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist's father, Mr. Pfft, lives with his animals, and that he is known for his "wildfire gossip" . The protagonist wonders what kind of man lives at the library, and wonders if anyone came into his room, and if Santa Claus came by. He also wonders if the pendant that was next to him when he woke up was a gift from a magician. He wonders if a thief left it for him, and he wonders if it would be okay for the dog to eat it. He asks his friend, vincent, to help him clean up the mess, and then wonders if he can become a "pretty his life" by using the pendant as a light. He decides that he will share his magic powers with her once he becomes a "magician."
