Ani asks Vincent if it's okay for them to talk without her father. Vincent says that he's not sure if he'll say anything anyway. Ani asks if there's been anyone following her or trying to get to know her, and Vincent says yes. Ani says that she went straight to the trash dump after she left the skating rink, and that's why no one is looking for her. She's bored waiting for her treatments, she says. She asks if she can get the clock back from when she was getting her treatments. Vincent tells her that she must have been bored watching the whole thing go down. He says that it was like he became bored watching it all go down . Ani wants to thank Vincent for giving her a present from Santa Claus, but he says that the gift is just a "pretty candy" with it. She says that her mom punishes her for eating anything sweet, and she's a prisoner in her house. Vincent points out that he doesn't want to share half of the gift with anyone, but Ani says she'd rather give the smaller piece to someone than not give it to anyone at all.
