In this short scene, we learn that Raine's cell phone has been dead for some time now. He's called back to say that he's been in trouble in paradise, but that he hasn't seen his uncle yet. He tells Raine that he can make all his problems go away, and that he doesn't even know what he would have done without his uncle. Raine says that he knows what you'll say, that he couldn't stand by and just let you die. Everyone in his life has already died, he says, and he wants to go on. He says he'll punish Raine now for breaking his promise.
