Desmond tells the kids that he's staying with them and fighting back against the bad guys. He wants to call the cops or something, but Desmond wants to stay with them. Desmond asks the kids if they'd like to have some hot cocoa or some marshmallows while the storm rages on. The kids finally admit that it was a friend who gave them a custom-made gun. They're all like, "what the heck?" Desmond says that he first met K in New York when he was on business with his boss. He's not worth it now, he says.
