He tells her that his son is a good guy, and that he works at a club downtown. He also says that his girlfriend was an assistant district attorney, so he wonders what happened to her. He says that they broke up three years ago, and he wonders why his mom always brings it up. He asks her to help him with the dessert, and she says she'll be glad to do so. She says that she never wants to be sorry for what she is, and tells him to be happy for who he is.
