In this chapter, we learn that Vincent is in prison for a crime he did not commit, but that he was caught for the actual crime. Vincent is upset that he is still in prison, and he blames himself for everything that has happened to him. He says that he would like to take some time off around Christmas, but he doesn't want to do it in the middle of winter.
