The next time the two of them meet, the young man wants to know what's up. He apologizes for not being more attentive the last time they met. He says he just thought he was being a celebrity by flirting with her. He's sorry that he's made her feel like she's not worthy to be with him. He tells her that if she doesn't leave him alone, he'll have to go back to being a member of the Irish mob. He adds that the low-ranking men from the Irish family know him by name and seem to have a "vengeance against" him. The young man says that he only knows the family's boss and that he used to do odd jobs for the family when he was younger. When his older brother went to prison for something, the family left him alone and he left for Italy. Now they think that he might be able to help them. He asks why they would pursue him if he already told them that he was involved in something. He also asks if they'll give him another chance if they start over.
