In this chapter, we learn that Oliver is still talking to Mr. Brownlow, and that Oliver has confessed that he was once a hired killer. Oliver says that he's not sure if he would have killed Oliver for money, but he does know that he could have done it if he wanted to. Oliver tells us that he is going to dig up his stash of money and find out if he was the one who killed Oliver. Oliver is happy to hear that his brother is back in town, and he is relieved to see that he has grown up and become a successful businessman. Oliver introduces himself as Oliver's bodyguard, and Oliver introduces him as his brother's friend. Oliver promises to send Oliver a report later on.
